2017 HIGHWAY TO HOMES CLASSIC CAR SHOW
May 20, 2017 | Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Fulton, Md.Hosted by the Capital Area Austin-Healey Club and Adaptive Living, Inc.
It was a great day for a car show. The Capital Area Austin-Healey Club and Adaptive Living Inc. (ALI) car show was a success with several Healeys and a Jensen, along with a Model A and an Edsel. We even had a visit by Batman in his 1966 Batmobile.
ALI provides affordable housing, food, transportation, and supervision for adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities. ALI’s mission is to teach independent living skills and encourage social and community participation.
Many thanks to Mike Callison for organizing the event for such a noteworthy cause. There was great music, doughnuts, coffee, and hot dogs. Mike also arranged for all of the trophies, advertising, and free car goodies from Advance Auto Parts.
